Sixty-year old Julia, an aging history professor, teaches the unresolved Lebanese Civil War. As she struggles to mend her broken relationship with Ghassan, her only son, Beirut’s past resurfaces in the shape of rabid dogs. When Ghassan is bitten, mother and son are plunged into a nightmarish journey in which history repeats itself and rabies spreads in the collapsing city.
