Cinema, Mon Amour tells the story of Abu Abdallah, a projectionist arrested from an art house cinema in Palestine for showing films dring the first Intifada and held in prison for thirty years. Upon his release, he returns to the cinema to find it earmarked for demolition. Determined to halt the erasure of an artifact of his personal memory and the last remaining art house cinema in Palestine, Abu Abdallah barricades himself inside the building. The owner and heir to the cinema, who has plans to develop the land, struggles to dislodge the defender of the old.
