This project attempts to rewrite the story of Lebanese-Palestinian poetess May Ziadeh from a feminist and personal perspective, and examines the ways in which collective memory is formed. The story reconstructs events of different times and is based on a two-time approach; the first being the simultaneous present for writing the story and for research, and the second being the past that centers around May herself. The project focuses on the use of feminist research tools such as women's writings, oral history, and diaries, with the aim of re-drawing a more comprehensive and authentic picture of history.
