Aya Nabih graduated from the English literature department of Cairo University. She has an MA in audio-text translation from Hamad Bin Khalifa University. She has published a poetry collection titled Exercises to Develop Insomniac Skills (2016) and translated Varieties of Disturbance by Lydia Davis in the same year. She participated in the first edition of the publication Al-Hamishiyoon with a collection of texts titled The Place and had an artist residency in Marrakesh and New York to work on a project combining poetry and contemporary dance.
