The film chronicles the story of the Burj al-Shamali Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon, starting with the massacre committed by the Israeli military in 1982. During the attack, Israeli airstrikes targeted three shelters, killing 125 Palestinian civilians in the blaze set off by the attack. Blending archival footage and interviews with the families of survivors with present-day stories from the camp’s residents, the film raises questions about what it means to build a life in a place that is perpetually unstable and under constant threat of obliteration.
