Mina Image Center will host Hussein Nasserredine’s lecture performance and exhibition River Papers. Hussein’s work considers how to envision a place that is no longer present, with River Papers exploring the interplay between language, memory, space, and water. Drawing inspiration from Arabic poetry, mythology, and personal narratives, Hussein crafts a narrative that unfolds like the meandering currents of a river, weaving together themes of transience, preservation, and the passage of time through a diverse array of mediums, including installation, performance, and digital composition.
