The Algerian Novel is an ongoing four-part video installation project centered on Algeria's history and collective memory. This fourth chapter emerges from Assia Djebar's La Nouba des Femmes du Mont Chenoua (1977), the first movie ever created by an Algerian woman, whose films are lost to this day. Katia Kameli will be starting the project within the frame of a writing residency at rhizome (Algiers).
