The Egyptian Coalition of Alternative Archive (ECAA) is an 18-month project bringing together three counter-archive institutions to address challenges in the field through collaboration. The project aims to improve accessibility and ethical use of archival materials by developing legal and ethical frameworks, exploring technical solutions for managing alternative Arabic archives, and experimenting with models for curating multidisciplinary creative and knowledge resources, ultimately empowering various stakeholders within the archival community.
