A collection of personal illustrated texts in the style of memoirs even if it is not one because the events narrated blend reality with fiction in various ways. It is also not entirely personal, as it does not recount the life of a person. Rather it uses scenes from the author’s life to explore concepts such as love, friendship, anxiety, and our relationship with cities we think we leave but that leave a lasting imprint on our lives. The illustrations aim to convey the interplay and confusion of these themes.
