ARD aspires to be a dynamic meeting point for artists, cultural activists, institutions, and a broad audience. Founded in 2022 by Hana El-Beblawy, ARD specializes in contemporary art practices and offers a diverse program of residencies, exhibitions, workshops, and other artistic activities. 

ARD encourages artists to pursue ambitious projects and fosters a platform for artistic exchange based on cultural diversity. It also connects local and international artists, while providing opportunities for younger Egyptian artists from various governorates to engage with the Cairo art scene through residencies focused on research, training, and experience sharing with visiting international artists.
