Teatro Alseed is a performing arts organization established in 2014 focused on providing artists in Upper Egypt with an alternative platform and support in producing their work. Teatro Alsaeed does this by providing affordable performance spaces, offering training programs, encouraging artistic engagement in remote areas and creating youth educational programs. Alongside its focus on supporting performance arts, the organization also works to document Upper Egypt’s cultural heritage and host events that promote dialogue about social issues.
