Bayader is a social and cultural project led by the Jaras group in Sabastiya, north of Nablus in the occupied West Bank. The project brings the people of Sebastia together in cultural and educational activities with the aim of creating new groups of writers of children's fiction focused on Sebastia history, which is under threat from Israeli settlements and the Occupation’s control. The project seeks to produce a collection of children’s stories that introduce children to the history of the town and galvanizes that knowledge through different artistic interventions.
