On dreams and visions, real and figurative, when reality and dreams open like two mirrors, each toward the other, a story arises from a dream and dreams arise from a story. It portrays scenes from Sudan’s long pain-filled nightmare: food and health crises, floods, racism, war, social status, and, before all that, it represents me and translates my vision of what happens around me and appears in my dreams. It is an attempt for the dream to erupt in the darkness of the nightmare.
