The Land Was Well Past Its Zenith is a non-perspectival work documenting a post-historical Beirut and the invisible forces that have been lurking inside the city since the conclusion of the Lebanese Civil War only to resurface in 2019. Through the use of contemporary technologies, the project looks to ask about the possibilities afforded if cameras were fashioned outside the bounds of linear perspective. How would our perception of images change, and what potentials would this representation have in depicting spaces in distress?
