Nayla is married to an ex-militiaman who has fallen into unemployment and alcohol abuse. Nonetheless, she resolutely toils to keep her family afloat in a sinking Beirut. But maladies are building – the Beirut blast, rapid currency devaluation, and a car accident caused by her daughter. Nayla’s life is trapped in a vicious cycle.
