“Cluster of Matter” is an site specific installation in Metlaoui — a phosphate mining town in Tunisia — that questions speculation around the lost paleontological heritage of the region.
The work stages a dialogue between the fictional and the natural, sketching a repertoire of creatures and chimerical forms to conjurge fauna and flora that could have existed.
