A critical reading of Ali Douaji’s texts and the depiction of the Tunisian space  and all its components during the thirties. This reading focuses on the various literary styles he wrote in, attempts to scrutinize the details of his career and his works, and approaches them from various angles, considering themes of satire and sarcasm as critical lenses. The book is an attempt to combine phases of the author's biography, journalistic writing, and historical and social analysis.
