The African Forum for Social Theater was launched in 2017 in Casablanca, and included representatives of six countries from North and West Africa. The forum works on three main axes: Scientific research that links societies with theatrical practice; collective creativity through a joint presentation between partner institutions; and creation of an organizational structure for the African Social Theater Forum project.

Le Forum africain du théâtre social a été lancé en 2017 à Casablanca et comprenait des représentants de six pays d'Afrique du Nord et de l'Ouest. Le projet visera trois axes principaux: la recherche scientifique qui relie les sociétés à la pratique théâtrale; la créativité collective à travers une présentation conjointe entre les institutions partenaires; et la création d'une structure organisationnelle pour le projet du Forum Africain du théâtre social.
