This project aims to explore the archetypes of what it means to be a Lebanese woman and the fetishization of Lebanese women compared to the reality of what it takes to reach these expectations. Specifically, the project focuses on exploring the areas of sexuality and beauty. It is an attempt to convey the experiences of women in Lebanon, expressing the similarities and differences between them based on the intersectionality of region, religion, and social status. Through her project, the photographer tries to express the reality of these situations/patterns and allows the viewer to interpret a meaning on their own.
