A study of sound in modern Arab poetry, of its presence/absence on podiums and in audio publication platforms, and the extent of its influence on this type of poetry, particularly when the latter moves from classical lyrical forms (‘amud and taf‘ila) to the prose poem and its musicality. The study will focus on the two poets Sarkon Boulos and Mahmoud Darwish, branching out to cover various types of poetic experimentation.
