Hours before dawn, a young child falls in the Nile from a dark, overcrowded bridge in the outskirts of Cairo. It takes his single mother a long time to act as she cannot believe what has happened and surrounded by different obstacles, including indifference, cruelty and bureaucracy. The film goes over those hours few but horrific, until dawn, between hope and fact acceptance. It is a film about some human facing the most terrible fate.
