During the Syrian revolution, 21 years old Noor tries to escape with his mother to Europe to reunite with the father, an ex-political prisoner who managed to leave the country years ago and now lives in Vienna. Things take a different direction when Noor loses his mother during the escape, after many people suffocate in the truck in which they travel.
