"Compulsory recruitment" consists of a drama workshop on the dramaturgy development and the dramatization of the document, and training in the arts of contemporary performance and retrospective narrative, taking the narratives of compulsory recruitment during the 1990s in Sudan as a subject of research and theater. The project is based on an incident that took place in April 1998 in Khartoum, when 160 soldiers were killed and drowned while fleeing the camp to pass the Eid holiday with their families.
