Everything is changing. The revolution erupts on the day of the aging president's birthday, but Sharif is too depressed to want to celebrate. He turns to playing ping pong while his wife insists on throwing him a party and inviting his friends. Meanwhile 20-year old Khaled, a champion ping pong player, is drawn into the revolutionary frenzy, much to the dismay of his coach and his mother. These two stories run in parallel, exploring the personal dilemma of avoidance and immersion... and yet these are the moments that make history.
