“Parts”, a new film by British artist Maeve Brennan, examines shifting economies of objects in contemporary Lebanon within the wider historical and political context of the Middle East. Combining documentary footage with staged cinematic scenes, ‘Parts’ documents a self-taught archaeologist and a joyrider carrying out processes of maintenance and repair. The project will be presented as a large-scale single screen video installation within major solo exhibitions
