OYUNU is an interdisciplinary performance about a gender-queer dancer, struggling with his identity as he goes through a discovery phase fueled by physical changes, intimacy, insecurities, morals, beliefs, Sufism, oppression, and borders. The show is a contemporary Middle Eastern sonic journey featuring Middle Eastern avant-pop music, heart throbbing rhythms, dance choreography, aerial arts, singing, poetry, and interactive live visuals.
