“Embraces” is a physical theater performance based on 6 short texts from Uruguayan journalist and novelist Eduardo Galeano’s “The Book of Embrace” and “Voices of Time: a Life in Stories”. The project presents the issue of disability as one of the concepts of alienation, through the path of the two main characters in the performance: a psychiatrist and his female patient.
