“My Dear Friends” is a collaborative exhibition set to take place in Istanbul in January 2019, to present contrasting yet interwoven bodies of work by Roger Anis and Bryony Dunne, based on Egypt’s Giza Zoo and the Suez Canal. The two artists’ work examines the complexities of the 125-year-old zoological garden, as a meaningful social space and an unsettling historical enterprise.
