Yasmine Zohdi is a writer, editor, and translator from Cairo, Egypt. She holds a BA in political science from Cairo University and an MFA in fiction writing from Sarah Lawrence College in New York. Since 2013, Yasmine has worked in cultural journalism, focusing particularly on film criticism. She is an alumna of the Berlinale Talents Press program (2018) and is interested in the interplay between cinema and literature, exploring how each medium informs and influences the other. Currently, Yasmine is working on her first collection of short fiction.
