Nour El Safoury is an editor and publisher working in the field of artistic publishing. She founded the Esmat publishing list in 2020, which aims to publish and distribute books that engage with various fields of visual arts. Nour is also a co-founder of the Cairo Art Book Fair, a specialized exhibition that brings together publishers, authors, and distributors of art books, connecting communities interested in artistic publishing in Egypt with their counterparts in other geographical areas. In addition to her publishing work, Nour is a film critic and assistant professor in the film program at the American University in Cairo.
