Nanda Mohammad has worked in Syrian, regional and international theater and television as an actor, writer and teacher. At the national level, she maintains a deep connection to contemporary Syrian theater, working with directors such as Naila al-Atrash and Omar Abou Saada, and has pursued acting roles in Syrian television. Since 2012, Nanda has been based in Egypt, where she collaborates with Egyptian director Ahmed al-Attar. In 2020, Nanda was awarded the French Ministerial Order of Arts and Letters, Knight degree. She has co-written theater texts such as Whims of Freedom and is currently writing her first play, Gathering Memories with My Eyelashes, during her residency at La Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. Alongside her acting and writing work for theater and film, Nanda has served as a voice and acting coach in Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Switzerland, Italy, and the UAE since 2004. Nanda is a graduate of the Higher Institute of the Dramatic Arts in Damascus, Syria.
