Cyrine Gannoun, a graduate of Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris III, has 27 years of experience working as an actor and director in Tunisian and international theater as well as in the professional culture sector. Advising institutions and the Tunisian Culture Ministry, Cyrine has helped steer policies on government and private investment and involvement in national art scenes, rehabilitation of cultural institutions, and event programming. She currently serves as the director of El Hamra Theater and the Arab-Africa Center for Theater Training and Research in Tunisia, and she also works as a trainer in movement anatomy. She also conducts various training workshops for young artists, produces and co-produces several theater and dance-theater productions and directs her own works.
