Soukaina Habiballah is the author of four poetry collections, one novel and one short story collection. Soukaina has received many awards including, the Buland Al Haidari Prize for Young Arabic Poets, the Floating Voices Award for Poetry, the 2019 Nadine Shames Prize for Arab Screenwriters for her short film Who Left the Door Open? She performed her play Nini Ya Momo at the official program of the 2022 Festival d'Avignon. She was a resident at the Iowa Writing Workshop’s International Writing Program in 2019.
