After managing the Music and Opera department at the "City of Culture" in Tunis in 2017/2018, the International Centre for Arts and Culture at the Palais Abdelliya in 2017 and the Music and Dance department at the Ministry of Culture in 2016, Saima Samoud is currently the general manager of the Centre for Arabic and Mediterranean Music Ennejma Ezzahra.

Professor at the Higher Institute of Musique since 2008, she holds a PhD in History of Music and Musicology from Paris IV - Sorbonne.

She plays the violin, and integrated the Tunisian Symphonic Orchestra at the age of 17. She has also administrated and played with the "Ensemble Orchestral de Tunisie".

In recent years, Saima has been very active in the promotion and organization of cultural events: the International Festival of Carthage (50th edition), the International Festival of Hammamet (2016-2017) and the Musical Days of Carthage for the past three editions (2015-2017).
