A graduate of Social and Cultural Development from Bordeaux II in France, Rasha Salah was the Executive Director of Dar El-Nimer for Arts and Culture, an independent nonprofit foundation where she was hired in 2015 to lead its creation and to draw its strategy and vision. She has curated and designed the exhibitions and programs of the Foundation, one of the latest being The Wall/Beirut of the photographer Josef Koudelka.
She also created the Tuesday’s Film cinema club that became one of the most visited weekly screenings in town, where she programed a series of independent Arab films screenings.
From 2010 to 2015, Salah was the Grants Manager at the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC) where she played a leading role in establishing the Fund’s regional outreach on a grassroots level.
Rasha worked in various International Organizations such as the UN Agencies and the European Union, and gained an experience in social, artistic and cultural management in the region. Rasha is the author of “L’an prochain à Tibériade”, published in 1996 by Albin Michel. And the Co-Director of “Femmes Palestiniennes, oubliées de la paix.”
