An Algerian curator, dramaturge and documentary filmmaker based in Brussels, Benchelabi has been a programmer at the European Cultural Centre, Les Halles since 2009 where she initiated a program on Contemporary Literature and Performing Arts of the Arab world. In 2013, she was associate curator of Daba Maroc the artistic contemporary Moroccan season in Belgium. Recently, she was associate curator of On Marche…10 edition, the International Contemporary Dance Festival of Marrakech. Currently, Benchelabi is developing Mediterranean Cultural Network, a project that focuses on training for the young generation with cultural operators from MENA region and Europe.
