Khalid Abdalla works as an actor, producer and filmmaker, but also in cultural production and alternative media. He is a founding member of Cimatheque, Zero Production and Mosireen. Past films as an actor include United 93, Green Zone, The Kite Runner, The Narrow Frame of Midnight, and Tigers. Upcoming films include: In the Last Days of the City, Our Kind of Traitor, Assassin’s Creed and Birds Like Us - in which he plays a bat. In documentary film he has producing credits on In the Shadow of a Man and the upcoming film, The Vote. He also appears as himself in The Square. Born in Glasgow and brought up in London, he lives in Cairo.
