In a further gesture of support and understanding under the present difficult times, #AFAC and @Netflix have announced the extension of the deadline for submissions to their joint Hardship Fund, in support of below-the-line workers, freelancers, technicians and professionals in the Film and TV industry in the Arab region.
The AFAC-Netflix Hardship Fund is designed to support the above-mentioned professionals and technicians across the Arab region during the present troubled circumstances and in light of the global health crisis, which have had disastrous consequences on their day to day lives. Eligible applicants include assistants, coordinators, technicians, and operators from the different departments (production, camera, sound, art direction, make-up, costume, props, post-production, locations and transportation, among others). Applicants are not required to be attached to any current project in order to be eligible.
The Fund will be providing individual grants of $2,000 each, covering living expenses.
You can now apply by Thursday July 15 before 5pm Beirut time - full details on the program page.
