Hakim Abdelnaeem is an Egyptian director, writer and video producer based in France. He has completed his studies in theater at Alexandria University, where he was born and lived for a while before moving to Cairo.



He participated as a researcher, assistant director, dramaturgy and visual developer in many artistic projects between Egypt and France, and cooperates with a number of online platforms as a writer, like Mada Masr.



He is working on various art projects that explore the concepts of disappearance, personal image, and the impact of social and political contexts on people's relationships with place and their perceptions of their history.
