Kinda Hassan was born in Beirut in 1984, where she lived and worked until 2013. She has completed two MA degrees, in fine arts at the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts in 2007 and in sound design at the Ecole Supérieure d'Art et de Design in Le Mans in 2018. She has been enrolled from 2021 in the electroacoustic music composition program of the CRD in Pantin. Kinda has also collaborated as a sound artist on many films and performances, and her artwork has been exhibited in numerous festivals and art spaces, including Cannes, Berlinale, Oberhausen, Jihlava, and Transmediale Festivals, MUCEM, La Maréchalerie Art Center, Mumok, Casa Arabe, among other art spaces, festivals and platforms in Europe, North America and the Middle East.
