Born in Beirut in 1997, Mara Ingea works at the intersection of installation, object design and performance art. She is interested in looking at the more-than-human to explore the place of beings with whom we coexist and rethink the spaces we inhabit. She holds a bachelor's degree in animation from the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts (ALBA) and a master's degree in directing of devised and object theater from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (DAMU). Currently based between Lebanon and Europe, she collaborates with international art teams as a director, performer, and set and costume designer. Her installation, Puzzles, was awarded Best Student Exhibition at the Prague Quadrennial 2023.
