Paul Gorra is a Beirut-based photographer, educator and practitioner who earned a master’s degree in photography from the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts (ALBA) in 2012. His analog photography practice is rooted in the personal and explores the interplay between identity and the vernacular landscapes of the territories he investigates. His upbringing in the Lebanese mountains has influenced his work, infusing it with a sense of place, myth, and a reverence for beauty.
