Fares Zaitoon is a Cairo-born documentary photographer and visual artist whose work delves into themes often regarded as taboo, such as drug addiction, mental health, identity crises and obsession. Since leaving university in 2016, he has dedicated himself entirely to his craft, further honing his skills through a scholarship at the Danish School of Media and Journalism and H-S Hannover University.
