Boncast Cultural Organization is dedicated to documenting Yemeni culture and life by producing a diverse range of podcasts that tell stories about Yemen, both past and present. These cover topics ranging from folk tales and Yemeni arts to the stories of songs and the lives of individuals and communities in Yemeni regions that remain largely unknown and isolated from the world, such as Socotra Island.

The organization also focuses on enhancing the capabilities of Yemeni youth in documentation and podcast production through the Maalama project, which hosted Yemen’s first podcast training in 2021. The project also aims to build an audio library that provides artists with an expansive space to create diverse artistic works inspired by the memories and stories of Yemenis.
