Ahmed Mohielddin Ellabbad

Born in Cairo in 1967, Ellabbad graduated in 1988 from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo, specializing in graphics. Since then, he has worked as a visual artist specializing in editorial graphics, including book and magazine design, posters, logos, and cultural prints, as well as print illustrations. He serves as an art consultant for the Al-Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies at Al-Ahram Foundation in Cairo. Ellabbad has also been an art director and designer for many publishing houses, creating visual identities for several of them and designing nearly 3,000 covers. He has developed and done the art direction for many cultural and artistic magazines. Ellabbad’s graphic and drawn works have been showcased in solo and group exhibitions in Egypt and abroad, with pieces held in the Museum of Modern Egyptian Art and private collections both locally and internationally. He is a member of the Fine Arts Syndicate and the Journalists Syndicate in Egypt.
