Soufiane Bakouri is an Algerian documentary photographer, born in 1987 in Bejaia. He holds a degree in civil engineering from Bejaia University and a certificate in photography from the Tourism and Handicrafts Ministry. He has received training in human and cultural rights, artistic and creative rights, and visual arts. Soufiane has participated in solo and group exhibitions in Algeria, France, Tunisia, Morocco, Brazil, Switzerland, and Belgium. He has won several awards and grants in the field of documentary photography. He lives and works in Algiers.
