Mohamed Salah Ismail is an Egyptian writer and comic artist who enjoys watching late-night TV shows, science fiction, and observing cats and crows. He graduated with honors from the painting department of the Fine Arts Faculty, Helwan University in 2005. Ismail has worked in various visual communication fields, starting his career with comics, illustration, and photography, before branching out into animation, caricature, press illustration and advertising. His works have been featured in several publications, including Samir and TokTok. He has participated in many exhibitions, workshops, and artist residencies in the comic field in Egypt, the Arab region, and Europe. His works have been published in four different languages. He won the grand prize at the CairoComix Festival and the Mahmoud Kahil Award for comics.
