Zaid Al-Fakih earned a master's degree in modern literature from Thamar University in 2012. His publications include Himyarite Arabic and Its Relationship with Classical Arabic (1998), Strings of Dust Veins (1998), The Finest of Praises: Famous Arabic Poems in Praise of the Prophet (2003), Orbits: Writings on Text Dimensions (2006), Not Me (2012), and the very short story collection Keys (2018).
