Imene Amara is an Algerian-French feminist activist, researcher, and writer specializing in gender issues and women, minorities and sexual rights in North Africa and Southwest Asia. She is a volunteer member of Wikigender and is interested in documenting women's history, particularly in Algeria. Imene’s work has been published on various platforms such as Towards a Feminist Consciousness, Sharika wa Laken, Al-Jumhuriya, My Kali, and others. She is also active on social media under the name Cat Lady.
