Aicha Kallali is a researcher in cultural studies and musicology and an assistant professor of higher education at Tunis University. In 2016, she earned her PhD in cultural sciences, specializing in music and musicology. Previously, she served as the head of the music and musicology department at the Higher Institute of Arts and Crafts at Gafsa University in Tunisia. From 2012 to 2022, Kallali was a member of Tunis University’s Research Laboratory for Culture and Modern Technologies and Development, where she also joined the Aesthetics and Structures Research Laboratory in 2017. Kallali has published several works, including The Experience of Musical Criticism in Tunisia (2017) and Tawfiq Boughedir: A Pioneer of Cultural and Musical Criticism in Tunisia (2019), along with numerous research papers. She has organized many scientific seminars and forums in Tunisia and coordinated PhD programs at the Higher Institute of Music in Tunis from 2014 to 2022.
